Hearth Bread Sets – Standards and Options
These specifications represent features available for all custom made set requirements.
Each is designed to help bake better bread.
Pan Material
  • 26 gauge Aluminized Steel.
  • 22 gauge Aluminized Steel.
  • Folded end construction strengthens individual pans.
  • Seamless Construction provides smooth curved sidewalls.
Bandiron Strapping
  • 18 gauge Aluminized Steel.
  • Closed bead strapping along bottom edge.
  • Individual pans strapped into sets of 3, 4, 5 or 6...or as specified.
  • Pans projection welded to bandiron strapping.
  • Nesting stabilizer allows positive nesting of pan stacks.
Bandiron Options
Bandiron over pan wire rims
  • Strapping widths of 1-1/8", 1-3/8", 1-5/8" or 1-15/16".
    NEW - 2-1/2".
  • Maximum protection to pan rims, can help maintain better set alignment.

Bandiron under pan wire rims

  • Strapping widths of 1", 1-3/16", 1-3/8", 1-5/8" or 2".
  • Can be more sanitary than overwire and will allow Pullman cover to drop directly on pan rims.
Rim Wire and Sani Spacer
  • #5 (.207 diameter) wire in pan rims strengthens pan rim area.
  • Wire sani spacer round rod depressed spacer maintains set stability and alignment.
