Customize and improve your pan designs with these new Extra Features
This group of special pan improvements have recently been developed by our Engineering team.
No Bow Ribs

Everything old is new again with No Bow Ribs. These ribs originally were called embossed ribs in older Ekco/Glaco designs and have once again become popular. These embossed ribs help the bun & roll pan panel from bowing and are especially helpful for longer pans. The ribs can be arranged in various patterns and arrangements. Note that some magnet unstackers may require magnet adjustment when attempting to pick up a pan with No Bow Ribs.

Contoured Cover Band

14 Gauge thick contoured cover band enables round bread set tops to fit snug onto the set bottom. The contoured band acts as a nesting adapter when covers are stacked.

Bandiron Gussets

Teardrop shaped bandiron gussets can be added to bread and pullman sets on the sides and ends. These gussets or lugs provide a near vertical plane for conveyorized bandiron to bandiron contact which prevents the sets from climbing onto one another during line stoppages or backups.
Continuous Bottom Strapping with Adjusted Nesting line

This feature for deep open top sets and Pullman sets provides full end wall protection while still allowing the sets to nest for automated stacking. A tension bow rib in the bandiron on each end is standard for this extra feature.

Platform Style Round Bread

Designed for use with automated pan handling and stacking, this one piece platform is ideal for protecting the round pan bottoms. The heavy duty 16 Gauge platform has generous openings and panner slots to allow for heat flow and smooth panning and conveying.

Extended Bandiron Adapters

An inner strapping member is added into the extension area for additional bandiron support. This will provide greater bandiron strength to sets that work on rack oven systems.
